Our Department Academician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah TÜRKER gave a conference titled “Global Climate Change and Its Effects on Water Resources”.

Within the scope of faculty-school cooperation, a conference for 10th grade students was held on March 25, 2025 at Ankara Yenimahalle Tevfik İleri Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, one of the practice schools of our 4th grade students in the Teaching Practice-II course, upon the invitation of the geography department. The conference, which attracted great interest from the students, was planned in connection with March 22 World Water Day and the “Use of Water Resources” topics in the 10th grade curriculum. In addition, the event aimed to develop faculty-school cooperation and increase information sharing between the practice academician and the practice school and teachers.
